Lots of folks seemed to enjoy the photo I posted the other day, so here is another one. This is Sharon and her beloved Moose during a rare Alabama snow this past January. Snow and the 'Moose Man' are probably her biggest joys in life. Dakota is in the background. Sharon won't be happy about me posting this photo, but unless she can figure out the password to this blog, it will remain.
Sharon's appointments with the radiologist and oncologist are set for early next week. I imagine the treatments will begin soon thereafter. We are both feeling a combination of 'this is going to suck' and 'let's get started beating this tumor back.'
The staples from surgery were removed this past Monday. I am not sure how this is possible, but one of them was overlooked and remains in place. Sharon looked a little nervous yesterday when I picked up my Bass Pro Shop pliers. Not to worry though, the staple will be removed during one of the appointments next week.
Thanks to Sue for the huge supply of Tastykakes, the Craigheads for the sticky buns and dog biscuits (Moose was happy to see those), and Annette for the Harry and David goodies.
