As you can see, the chupacabra paid us another visit. Are those eyes scary or what? I wish he'd pull some weeds while he is running around our yard.Sharon is doing a bit better. The reduction of her Topamax dose helped some. Today was not good to Sharon, however. She has been running a slight fever and felt at one point like she might have a seizure. On the plus side, Sharon was able to set up her game cameras tonight. And, earlier in the day, Sharon's spirits brightened when she was presented with a turkey sub from Jersey Mike's and some Tastykakes.
The news broke today that Starbucks is raising its prices. The "Sharon Special" (a venti soy caramel macchiato) will now sell for 5 bucks. Good grief. This pretty much seals the deal that we need to buy a good espresso maker.
There are ugly storms in the area as I write this. Lots of nasty clouds at our house; it looks like friggin' Mordor outside. But no rain! I swear that someone installed a giant rain repellent in our neighborhood. Or maybe it is the evil magic of the chupacabra.
