The first night of chemo went well. Sharon even managed to sleep for 5 1/2 hours straight. That does not sound all that great, but it is a step forward from her recent (lack of) sleep pattern. Dare we hope for a full 8 hours tonight?
Sharon also feels that dropping her steroids from 8 mg a day to 6 mg has not caused any problems so far. That's very good. Ideally, she will get off of steroids entirely. Steroids seem to be the ultimate 'double-edged sword' medication. Insert your own obligatory A-Rod joke here.
Afternoon update: Sharon's Dilantin level is at 10. Geez. Her dosage has been increased; we need her to be around the middle of the 10 to 20 normal range.
